Kollicoat® IR Coating Systems are ready-to-use colored coating materials based on Kollicoat® IR. Kollicoat® IR, a 3rd generation of coating polymers, replaces 1st and 2nd generation coating polymers, HPMC and PVA. Users of Kollicoat® IR are impressed with its excellent product properties enabling film coating of highest quality. By combining the polymer Kollicoat® IR with a unique innovative manufacturing process, Kollicoat® IR Coating Systems make the coating process extremely easy and safe in handling. The globally approved color pigments are embedded in the Kollicoat® IR polymer matrix - a solid dispersion is formed. Therefore, they are unable to separate or agglomerate and accordingly redispersible within minutes
